The bar included with your cage is not a competition bar.

It's almost always a painted tube, too thin, which becomes slippery as soon as you use chalk and starts to peel after a year. For weighted pull-ups, it's the first thing to give out.

Solid bead-blasted stainless steel: no paint to chip, no rust in a damp garage. The grip is the same on the hundredth pull-up as on the first. European steel, welded in our workshops, sandblasted in Belgium

Yes, in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Norway. Customs duties and local VAT are paid by the recipient upon receipt; they are not included in the price. For any other destination, please write to us before ordering.

Four measurements, taken with a tape measure on your current rack: the upright size (width of the drilled face), the hole diameter, the hole spacing (from the bottom of one hole to the bottom of the next) and the inside width between the uprights. Each field of the form, just above the buy button, explains its measurement. If in doubt, send a front photo and one of the holes to contact@mergaux.net.

Up to 140 cm internal width, the standard version. From 140 to 190 cm, the reinforced version: the bar needs reinforcements to support the same load over a longer span. Beyond 190 cm, we do not manufacture.

No paint, so nothing to flake off under the chalk. No bare steel, so no rust in a humid garage. And a regular sandblasting rather than aggressive knurling: the grip holds without tearing your hands apart on the tenth repetition. The 33 mm is the competition diameter.

No, and that is intentional. The ApexGrip replaces the bar already on your rack and uses its existing mounts: you reuse your own, which ensures a precise fit. If your current bar is welded rather than bolted, please send us a photo before ordering.

Yes, if you have a valid EU VAT number. Write to us before ordering with this number and the name of your organisation: we check it, create your tax-exempt customer account, and your order goes through VAT-free at checkout. For several machines, we prepare an overall quote.

Two-year legal warranty of conformity on the entire range, starting from delivery. During this period, a manufacturing defect will be repaired or the part replaced free of charge. Wear parts and damage resulting from use beyond the permissible load are not covered. We provide spare parts beyond the warranty period.
